The 2nd release for Verdant Recordings in 2020: ‘Limbic Resonance’ is a double A side 12 sharing the hearts and minds of 2 talented producers.

The EP provides a platform for 'newcomer' Nesa Azadikhah, but in truth, Nesa is an established live performer and provides much of the energy behind Deep House Tehran, a voice and focus for the underground music community in her city. Her unique style of music assimilates her culture and personal experiences with a worldly and studious appreciation of deep techno. On this EP Pathetic features intricate breakbeat programming with twisted acid basslines. No Morale is slower, with a chugging 4/4 kicks and uses more 303 lines and melancholic harmonies for to create a haunting techno track.

Alison Marks from London has an enviable catalogue of releases as herself, Lumina and as half of Wallflower with Leah Floyeurs. Notably heard on Rebirth and Dogmatik her sound is signified by deepness, warmth and soul. Love Note & Understandings are very floor focused deep techno tracks with firm pumping kicks and basslines clouded in intricate samples and textures for late shift, eyes closed moments. Control eases the pressure with delicate notes and atmosphere to close another diverse chapter in the Verdant story.
